After finishing my first year of college, I figured out what I wanted to do with my life: I wanted to tell stories. However, I knew that deep down there was much more to storytelling because of my passion for technology, digital media, and people. This passion for storytelling and technology led me down quite a winding road.

After growing up in Rocky River, Ohio, a suburb outside of Cleveland, I attended the University of Cincinnati, becoming the first in my family to attend and graduate college. Little did I realize that this would only be the beginning of my educational career. I thought that I just had to go to college and get a job and that was that. What I did not know was how much graduate school was really going to shape me even more.

Fast-forward to 2024, I graduated with not one but two master’s degrees from two different disciplines. In 2020, I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a master’s degree in communication. After starting my career in marketing in 2020, I decided to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration to learn more about business and gain skills and insights into the ever evolving world of business. I graduated with my MBA from Northern Kentucky University in December 2022.

During my undergraduate career at the University of Cincinnati, I was involved with several student organizations and I was a Resident Advisor. Through those roles, I made connections and helped students work together across different departments and programs. Mentoring students, especially first-year students, was rewarding and what drew me into wanting to become an instructor. This led me to a fulfilling two years at the University of Kentucky as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and later an instructor in my second year.

During my time in graduate school, I made the decision to dive into one of my big hobbies and passions: video games. In May 2019, I created a YouTube channel to get more involved within the gaming community and as a platform for relaxation and creativity. Fast forward to March 2024, and I became a full YouTube Partner which has been extremely rewarding.

In 2020, I graduated from the University of Kentucky and started to pursue a full-time career. During my time working with Gladiator Law Marketing from June 2020 to May 2023, it opened my eyes into seeing a career in marketing. I gained new skills and experiences and grew in my role while learning about search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing. All of the skills I learned prior really clicked together all while learning new skills along the way.

Because of my passion for marketing and desire to learn more about business, I pursued my MBA while working full time. Working while going to school enriched my professional growth as I applied what I learned from school in my work and the other way around. Taking a year away from school really solidified what I wanted to do and helped inform what my next educational steps would be.

As of May 2024, I am an SEO Specialist with Dealer.com and work in a client-facing capacity, growing my skill set and knowledge within SEO and content marketing. I can honestly say that I’ve enjoyed a career in marketing and that there’s always something new to learn.

If there is one thing I learned in life, everyone has a different story. I want to be there to help tell those stories and help potential clients tell their stories as well. Graduating college in April 2018 was a milestone, and not just because I was the first in my family to obtain a bachelor’s degree. Even after obtaining my master’s degrees, I am optimistic for the future and I can say that the adventures are only just beginning.
