Oakland Space Academy
Making STEM education accessible
The Oakland Space Academy is designed to build a strong foundation of space-sector knowledge and skills while bridging the disconnect between K-12, work, and post-secondary education. The depth and breadth of the program greatly increases the chances that all students will succeed in their career whether it begins right after high school or is built as part of a pathway through college. The Oakland Space Academy is comprised of the Galaxy Explorer program – available to 10th-12th graders – and our Technical Skill Intensives – designed for those who’ve completed 10th grade and up and want to take a deeper dive into technical skills.
