We’re Jimmy Doherty and Stevie Sheppard – conservationists, brewers, and founders of Crafted Conservation.

From rescuing polar bears to rebuilding habitats, we’ve spent our lives fighting for nature. But we wanted to find a better way to fund that work – something sustainable, something joyful, something you could actually taste.

So, we brewed it. And when you crack open a beer with us, you’re stepping into the boots of a ranger.

You’re helping animals like Brunhilda, a bear rescued from war. You’re part of real rescue, real habitat, and real hope.

It started with two bears, Ewa and Diego, and the belief that the public could help us build Europe’s largest polar bear reserve.

We didn’t just find donations. We found belief.

That belief became Space for the Wild, a charity now funding rescues and wild spaces across the world. But we didn’t want to rely on buckets and appeals. We needed a better way.

So, we raised a glass. And that glass became BEAR.

We’ve now joined forces with:

Together, we’re not making charity beers – we’re making brilliant beers that just happen to fund conservation.

In 2025, we launched Turtle – a crisp Blonde Ale brewed to protect the ocean.

Each pint supports our partner Project Biodiversity in Cape Verde, helping save endangered loggerhead turtles through beach patrols, nest protection, and education.

From cold beers to warm sands, every sip helps turn the tide.
