Most Creative Hack ($100): Most creative hack, it can be any hack that deemed extraordinarily.
Humanitarian Hack ($100): Best hack that aims to help the community.
Best use of Intel ($100): Best hack that uses the Galiliao or Arduino boards we provide.
Best Newbie Hack ($100): We encourage Freshmen or Sophomore to participate our event, if the group consist of Freshman and Sophomores only, they're qualify for this award.
Crowd's Favorite ($100): This award will be decide on popular vote.
Listed below are the Hardware Hack Rules/limitations:
Hardware Hacks must interact with the physical world( Ex. Sensors, motors, buttons)
Hardware Hacks can be improvements to existing projects( Ex. 120B projects, Micromouse, DIY projects) a) Improvements must be narrowly defined before hand
Circuits and 3-D models may be planned out or made before the Hackathon a) Models and circuits must be submitted before Hackathon begins b) All assembly and testing must occur during Hackathon time c) We recommend buying multiples of the same components in case of "malfunctions"
3-D prints will be limited to a 2-hour print time a) To guarantee prints please request them before the Hackathon
