This journal contains everything of that and more: my entries for LJ Idol and (very seldom) HP fanfic, whining about the various physical and mental afflictions I carry around with me, memes (not too many, and the long ones behind a cut, mostly), lots of pictures of myself, landscapes, my field, garden and my cats (in every possible position and expression), musings about Tarot readings, flowers, herbs, animals, rants about EU and foreign politics and squeeing/lamentations about the performance of my soccer team(s), my vocal progresses or disasters, operas and sacred music concerts I have taken part in, rehearsals, descriptions of music I am learning or listening to. And tons of other things, obviously, quite a few of them (work and those who involve other peoples right to privacy) friends filtered.
About myself..born in Germany, and returned there in 2009 with my husband and our two cats, after living in Italy for 26 years.
I spend my time between my (mostly free lance) work as an expert for sustainable management, mainly in the tourism and event sector, my current job in a regional vaccination centre, my love for classical music, volunteer work for refugees, writing, reading, and trying to advance towards a minimum of awareness. When I am not too sick for it, which happens from time to time.
I also travel for work (less than I used to), and like to get to know new people wherever I go. I love languages, speak a few of them quite well, others passably and am always thinking about studying a new one..
I have the utmost respect for anybody who has made different choices from mine, and expect the same in return.
