Rooted in the work of Peter Block and inspired by his groundbreaking book Community: The Structure of Belonging, Leader As Convener® teaches leaders, facilitators, and changemakers how to create the conditions for belonging, participation, shared ownership, and meaningful transformation.

At the center of this work are the Six Conversations That Matter® — practical conversational frameworks that help groups move beyond compliance, dependency, and problem-solving toward commitment, possibility, and collective accountability.

Leader As Convener Workshop

Learn how to create gatherings that build trust, belonging, and shared ownership.

This highly experiential workshop helps participants rethink what leadership looks like in groups, meetings, teams, and communities. Rather than relying on control, persuasion, or top-down expertise, participants learn how to structure conversations that invite authentic participation and collective responsibility.

Through live practice, reflection, and dialogue, participants explore how gatherings can:
