  • Hacking Start: March 29, 2025 — 11:00 AM

Workshops, mentoring sessions, snacks, and chaos — all packed into 24 hours of fun and building!


Eligibility

  • Teams of up to 4 members max
  • All levels welcome: whether you’re a seasoned hacker or it’s your first time
  • You do not have to be a programmer to participate
  • Business students, designers, engineers, artists — we want all your brains
  • Participants must register at DevHacks Website and submit their project on Devpost
Project and Submission Requirements

  • All work must be completed during the hackathon period — no pre-built projects
  • You must submit your project on Devpost by 12:00 PM on March 30
  • You may use AI tools, no-code platforms, or partial prototyping tools
  • Final presentation format is flexible — slide deck, concept demo, pitch site, video
  • Your submission should include:
    • A clear project title and description
    • A GitHub repo or code files (if you have a tech project)
    • Names of all team members
    • Technologies used
    • A demo video (strongly encouraged)

Only one submission per team. Your team must be present at the final presentation for judging.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection


Judges will tentatively evaluate submissions based on the following:

  • Creativity & Originality – Is the project novel or uniquely applied?
  • Technical Difficulty – How complex or challenging is the implementation?
  • Impact & Usefulness – Does this solve a real problem or improve lives?
  • Presentation & Polish – Is the submission clear and demo-ready?
  • Use of Tools – Effective use of AI/tech (optional but welcome!)

Bonus points for:

  • Unique problem spaces
  • Developed application & Clean UI/UX
  • Humor or wild ideas that just work
