NOTE: MapMate is no longer being updated, and has issues working with recent versions of Windows. Because of its continued usage by recorders, MapMate will continue to be supported by the BSBI as a route for passing data to the DDb, but we do not recommend it for future use.

Welcome to these pages containing video screencasts and other resources to demonstrate ways of using the MapMate species recording database. They are primarily for BSBI recorders and members who use MapMate for recording plant species. However, other MapMate users are very welcome!

We recommend that you view the YouTube video clips using full-screen: use the icon which appears at the bottom right of each video once the video has started to play.
