The EASE Initiative

The EASE Initiative about refractory chronic cough (RCC) is an online resource designed to provide both clinicians and patients with current information on the burden, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of RCC. As understanding of RCC continues to evolve, this initiative highlights the role of cough hypersensitivity in persistent cough and explores current approaches to evaluation and management, as well as emerging mechanism-based therapies under investigation for patients whose cough persists despite appropriate care.
