I mostly just use a basic pixel brush or gel pen for my recent sketches !! As for color palettes I try to stick to 1 or 2 colors max , usually just the hair color so the sketch stays minimalistic and if I want to shade I’ll just pick a darker more saturated hue but I’ll only shade the main surfaces so sketch doesn’t get too crowded :p Also its less time consuming heheh
