DIVE

June 8th., 2026

SS Great Britain, Bristol

Fresh from London’s West End and the United Nations General Assembly, EM The Master’s critically-acclaimed show DIVE heads to the historic SS Great Britain in Bristol, UK. This World Oceans Day (June 8), dive beneath the surface with Em and her band. Tickets here!

Hailed as “Spectacular!” by The Times Square Chronicles, DIVE is a 75-minute, one-woman musical extravaganza that takes audiences deep into the ocean and beyond. Led by music and performance artist, diver, ocean activist and recent Ocean Award nominee EM The Master, this hilarious, yet deeply moving show blends real-life underwater encounters with original music, reimagined classics and playful storytelling. Quirkily personifying the creatures she’s had the pleasure of interacting with, DIVE celebrates the oceans marvels, explores the challenges it faces, and questions how we can all give back to this essential ecosystem.

Performed aboard the world’s first ocean liner, a vessel for maritime history, the ship is the perfect setting for this unique show. Tickets also grant access to Oceanographic’s Ocean Photographer of the Year Exhibition which is displayed on the ship.

Come and DIVE in!

DIVE TRAILER

DIVE can be adapted to fit multiple venues, time limits and scales. With a solo performer and 3-piece band, it can be performed on a small cabaret stage, or a larger theatre. Em also performs solo (piano/vocal) for smaller-scale events. The show is flexible in timing, with a full theatrical version at 90 minutes, cabaret at 60-75 minutes, and smaller segments of as little as 3 minutes (single song) available. Em is currently performing at a number of topic-specific events with individual songs relating to specific subjects such as plastic pollution or shark protection. Both these smaller scale performances and the full-scale show are available for booking.

Additionally, Em is available to write to brief; if you would like to bring an element of music and performance to your environmental event or campaign, please reach out and Em will be happy to write bespoke material for your cause!

NEWS

In September 2025, Em performed DIVE at the UN General Assembly in partnership with the High Seas Alliance, to celebrate the ratification of the High Seas Treaty. This is a historic milestone for ocean conservation, which, decades in the making, will be the first international law to protect the High Seas (two thirds of our ocean).
Subsequently, Em was invited by HSA to write an official song for the High Seas Treaty. Em composed Don’t Stop Now which she premiered at HSA’s celebratory event in January 2026, performing alongside speakers including the President of Palau. Em has since recorded the song with GRAMMY-nominated producer Bruce Witkin and the song will be released later this year. Em hopes that the use of music in this way will bring knowledge around ocean conservation to the public in a way which is engaging, accessible and fun.

DescriptionEm was featured in Forbes as part of the ‘extraordinary network of women fighting to protect the High Seas’. The article recognized Em’s contribution to science communication through DIVE, alongside features on High Seas Alliance director and recent Earthshot winner, Rebecca Hubbard.

DescriptionEm has been nominated and shortlisted for a Nekton Ocean Award, recognizing the power of her unique method of music, storytelling and performance in tangibly changing public behavior in regards to ocean issues.

Em has partnered with Ocean Rising, an initiative launched by Schmidt Ocean Institute and Nekton, who will collaborate with Em to produce three performances of DIVEin the coming year. The first of these will be aboard historic SSGB on World Oceans Day, June 8th.
