Husker Motorsports Formula SAE competing May 13-16

Spring 2026

The Husker Motorsports Formula SAE team is at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn competing against approximately 120 other college teams in various categories and events such as technical inspections, presentations, and autocross endurance and acceleration.

UNL VEX Robotics team 5th in their division at World Championship

Spring 2026

A team of the UNL VEX U Robotics Club - the SKERS - competed in the VEX Robotics World Championship April 25-27 at the America's Center in St. Louis, finishing 5th in their division at the event. During this year’s competition, teams participated in a game called “Push Back,” in which four teams form two alliances and control four robots on a 12-by-12-foot field with four goal zones.

Lankas turns multi-disciplinary interests into Hudl career

Spring 2026

Lena Lankas chose Nebraska to pursue her wide-ranging interests in business, computer science, entrepreneurship, and dance without compromise. She earned dual degrees in business administration and computer science at the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management. She graduated as a Chancellor’s Scholar with a 4.0 GPA and is beginning a full-time product management role at Hudl.
