One of the UK’s foremost non-professional choirs
Formed in 2014, the choir has developed into a uniquely adventurous and chameleonic ensemble – by turns a chamber choir, symphonic chorus, solo voice ensemble – performing around 12-15 concerts, services, residentials, theatrical events, competitions, and private functions a year in London and beyond.
Most recently the choir won first place in both the Chamber Choir category and the overall Grand Prix at the Tallinn 18th International Choral Festival. Previously we were awarded the prize for “Outstanding Performance of a Piece written before 1750” at the City of Derry International Choir Festival.
The choir has released 3 CDs on Delphian Records and in 2018 received a a 5-star review from the Arts Desk for a performance they described as “up there with the best professional choirs”.
Performed with complete commitment, it rightly earned a standing ovation … Epiphoni is up there with the best professional choirs
The Arts Desk, Dec 2018
Epiphoni Consort dealt with the exposed choral writing exceptionally well ... otherworldly and robust in equal measure.

I rate my audience experiences based on whether it makes me want to be up there making music with the performers. I give you an emphatic yes
Johannes Roose, Conductor, Melbourne Sinfonia
It's so obvious right from the minute you start singing that you have a passion for choral singing, and excellence in choral singing. It's a very vibrant sound.
