Beachy and Aline already told you that Tres Chic is celebrating an anniversary round and there are free gifts to be had, but I couldn’t let such a momentous occasion pass without wishing a happy birthday to my dear Tres Chic!

Eleven years in Second Life is quite an achievement and free gifts are just the frosting on the cake…er, cookie. I hadn’t meant to pile on the gifts so much here, but I kept putting them on and they were too cute to take back off again. So here we are, with FOUR free gifts from Tres Chic to show you:
- Free dress by Melody, which I love because it does all of the accessorizing for you. It includes HUDs to change all of the parts of the dress and gloves (which can be worn separately) to a ton of solid and daisy pattern colors, and sizes for LaraX, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu.
- Free cookie stack from Havoc, with holds for the right hand and the left hand plus options for blue or pink candles (this one is on the wall by the stairs, where the Havoc Tres Chic gifts are every round).
- Free skin by beso and omg it’s so pretty! I’m not sure that I’ve heard of beso but guess where I’m headed right after I finish this post? It includes an entire fatpack of Velour shades in brow and no brow versions.
- 1L pose pack from Pixit, and yes this gift is 1 very affordable L. All three poses included are excellent.

Monstera
OK Fabs, I kind of did this blog picture on a dare from Aurora! We both really loved this Monstera leaf gift pose, and she was like ‘you HAVE to blog it!’.

Too Little Way Too Late
I just “discovered” Absence this weekend, because they have a really great dress in one of the weekend sales. Turns out they also have a wall of free gifts!
The Gifts
The signage says that the gifts are group gifts, but actually no group join was required to get them. There’s a really great selection of dresses and shoes and tops, all for free! I’m wearing two of the free gifts that I picked up at Absence. First is this dress that is so sexy and perfect, although pretty see through so be warned. I hopefully kept my bits covered with my lighting choices, but I also tried a panty underneath and that worked well too. The boots that I’m wearing here are also a free group gift at Absence. They only came rigged for Legacy and Reborn, but they were easy to alpha and wear on my Maitreya. Both the boots and dress come with really great fatpack HUDs for the main color and lots of detail options too. You can get these and more at Absence for free, with no group join required.

Suit and Tie
I cheated a little bit this weekend, Fabs. Not on you, of course, but on the blog. I picked up some new threads on the weekend sales, but one of the items I’m wearing comes in over our 75L limit.
Timeless
This look is definitely timeless, although I am not, as my vest comes with a pocket watch. I went shopping over at Volver for Manly Weekend, and they had this whole outfit on sale. The Josh pants are 75L and you have lots of color choices. There’s a Josh shirt that goes with the pants that’s also 75L, but I really loved the Josh vest, which was 99L (shhhhh). Therefore I’m ‘only’ blogging the pants. lol They all come sized for:

Plus, I really needed this outfit so I could also show you this free fedora. Yesterday, I blogged a cowboy hat by a franchise [hoorenbeek] store, and this fedora is also a free gift at the same store, on the FogBound Blues SIM. Fluttering Wings
Butterfly Earrings from Pixel Box provided the perfect accessory for my outfit. Stylized dark gold butterflies dangle from chunky links, adding movement and bling to my outfit. I like how they depict the outline of veins in the wings and the shape of the body without adding too much weight. The tiny circles in the border of the wings add visual interest. It’s flirty and fun, and a steal at just 70L per color which also includes a HUD to change the colors of the little details, if you like. Then I saw these boots at Coco and they’re so well made and just what my ruffles needed, no? They’re also part of the Happy Weekend sale, and set me back 60L per color pack. What a deal!
