A little bit about us.
Opened in 1997
After earning a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration, Trent Flory returned home to Lawrence. Honing his craft at a display company and another design firm, he branched out on his own in 1997 to launch Flory Design, Inc.
Originally focused on logos and print design, the business naturally evolved with the digital age, expanding into website design in 2006. Today, Flory Design remains a small, nimble, and dedicated creative team focused on one clear mission: helping our clients ‘get a better look.’
Homegrown in Lawrence, Kansas
The Flory family has called Douglas County home since the 1860s, living here for nine generations. While Trent went away for college, he came straight back to Lawrence afterward.
Over the decades, Flory has been privileged to design logos, print materials and websites for organizations both local and across the states.
In 2018, Trent’s son, Weston, joined the team. Also a college-trained graphic designer, Weston works alongside his dad to keep the family legacy of great design alive!
