Alan O'Connor founded GameTips.gg in 2024. Since then, we have been working hard to provide the best tools and resources to help players succeed in their favorite games.

Message from Alan O'Connor - Founder

I started my development journey in 2016 when I launched YGOPRODeck. YGOPRODeck went on to be an extremely successful website in the Yu-Gi-Oh! community that I am extremely proud of to this day. Alongside YGOPRODeck, I also created DigimonCard, PokemonCard, PSLegends and more.

GameTips.gg was created partially by chance. I decided I wanted to finally learn the Laravel framework and I wanted to create a website that I would use myself. I have always been a fan of creating guides for games and I wanted to create a platform where users could easily create and share guides for their favorite games.

I hope you enjoy using GameTips.gg as much as I enjoyed creating it.

In July 2025, PSLegends.com was merged into GameTips.gg. All articles, guides, and content from PSLegends.com are now available on GameTips.gg.

GameTips.gg is built using the Laravel framework and uses a custom in-house CMS that we dubbed "GameTips CMS". This allows us to easily manage content and provide a seamless user experience.

GameTips CMS is designed to be user-friendly and easy to use. It allows users to create and manage guides, game collections, and more. We are constantly improving GameTips CMS to provide the best tools and resources for our users.
