Welcome to The Sweeter Journey! Here, we are focused on learning the smaller parts of a culture and a people- what truly makes a place, a place. Coming from the United States, I’ve been around various cultures and people. I find that in my adult life I am very interested in learning about the world around us.
I am a full time English teacher and am traveling the world one school-year at a time. This year, I am teaching in Tegucigalpa, Honduras where I’m learning about Honduran and Latin American culture. This school has been such a fun part of teaching. A new school, new staff, new cultural norms. How do you navigate it all? I’m here to help.
