Basic colouring would be nice. Like colour input, commands (binaries),
flags, and shell characters (like |) differently. Could also indicate an
invalid command without needing to return first.

The commands themselves use the ASCII escape codes to colour their output. We both do not and cannot handle things such as colourization of filenames and directories; they are already handled by ls.
