Phantom input on startup

Occasionally when starting the program, the input box will be populated with content that I did not enter (see attached image as an example). This isn't a consistent occurrence and I'm unable to reliably reproduce.

can you actually bakespace that text? or is it phantom

I am able to clear it out with backspace -- I guess "phantom" isn't the proper term for the title.

@malaow3 are you on windows terminal with WSL? running into this on an internal tui app too & just want to make the bug report to charm better.

I am using WezTerm with WSL, not Windows Terminal

FYI to add more info here as I reported in #188 I am using the following:

• Windows 11
• Windows Terminal
• wsl2 running Arch Linux
• zsh shell
