Hi there 👋 I'm Aron Gu!

I'm an aspiring software engineer currently working as a full stack programmer for CUIIC.

I specialize in backend development using Python, C++, SQL, and MongonDB. I have previously worked as a Robotics Research Assistant(Software Engineering) at DRDC, Research Assistant(Software Engineering) for ADAMS Lab at the University of Alberta, and as a Teaching Assistant in Database Management Systems at the University of Alberta.

I was part of a ground breaking startup project called YOLO Brawlers that won 1st Place in HackED 2025 allowing humans to translate their movements into robot fighting actions using computer vision, ESP32 microcontrollers, servo motors, and custom hydraulic controlled robots!
