I'm Craig Lobo, a Computer Science student at the University of Alberta with a passion for backend development, system-level programming, and building practical, impactful solutions. Developed an Android app to catalogue household items for insurance, using Firebase for real-time data handling. Led a 5-person team as Scrum Master, implementing custom search filtering that improved efficiency by 30%.

💓 LifePulse Guardian – Cross-Platform Health Monitoring

Flutter | C++ | Bluetooth
Built a wearable-integrated health monitoring app in Flutter for both iOS and Android. Managed real-time Bluetooth communication and participated in agile feature planning and QA testing.

Created in 24 hours at HackEd Beta to help students navigate campus pedways in winter. Implemented Dijkstra’s algorithm for optimized routing and integrated Google Maps for real-time directions.

Maintained a compiled stack-based programming language. Rewrote the original Python implementation in its own syntax, using FASM and bootstrapping techniques to compile itself.

Showcased at the Upper Bound AI Conference. Used AI-generated images as trivia prompts. Optimized server response time by 600% via multithreading, cutting cloud compute costs significantly.

Built-in 24 hours at HackEd 2023. Converts handwritten notes to clean PDF documents using OCR. Led frontend and API integration on a 3-person team.
