I'm having an issue with swift build in Xcode 26.0, my project uses SkipSQLPlus. I'm not too familiar with the build process, is there a way to use the packaged sqlite version 3.50.4 instead of Xcodes?

We've seen this issue as well. We're not quite sure about the cause, but we have found that running skip export a second time does tend to resolve the issue and result in a successful build.

Can you try that and let us know if it works?

Thanks, running it again allows me to build successfully. Same with running swift test twice (the second builds)

I'm having trouble with the skip export twice trick when the SkipSQLPlus dependency is in another local package.
eg. MainApp -> Data -> SkipSQLPlus

I've tried adding SkipSQL to MainApp as well without success.

Any other ideas or things tricks I could try?

I have seen this same issue with skip 1.6.30 and skip-sql 0.12.1 attempting to build the Skip-Notes sample app from the Project.workspace in Xcode 26.1. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

This is fixed in SkipSQL 0.13.0. The issue was that SkipSQLPlus declares its own sqlite3.h for its custom build, but that module is also pulled in by SQLite3 (via SkipSQLPlus's dependency on the SkipSQL module). This worked as long as the definitions in our own sqlite3.h matched the System SQLite3 framework definitions exactly, but since iOS26 updated the SQLite version, the header had new definitions and we no longer matched.

The solution is to add a new SkipSQLCore module which doesn't depend on SQLite3. The SkipSQL and SkipSQLPlus modules each now depend on SkipSQLCore, and so their sqlite3.h definitions do not need to match exactly.

You will need to make a change to your code that imports SkipSQLPlus, though. Instead of:

import SkipSQL
import SkipSQLPlus

you will need to change it to:

import SkipSQLCore
import SkipSQLPlus

Other than that, everything should continue to work as normal. Please let us know if you encounter any issues.
