Primitive constructors are deprecated for removal and should be replaced

Patch incoming. Also, in most (all?) places, it would be better to directly use the primitive types directly, but that's something for later.

The changes for the deprecated constructors have been merged, directly using the primitive types where possible is the first thing to do after the next release IMHO, so I close this for now.
