The Thing Is While Installing Warp Update 2024.07.30.08 It's Not Getting Install
When Im Typing The Install; Code [sudo apt update && sudo apt install warp-terminal && warp_finish_update w22xStj]
It Showing That Successfully Installed But After Re Lanuched It's Still Showing UPDATE.

Hey @Subhai - looking at the video you shared, apt isn't loading data from Warp's apt repository.

When you installed Warp via apt, it should have configured an apt repository that Warp uses for updates.

Can you check to see if there's a file at /etc/apt/sources.list.d/warpdotdev.list, and if there is, share its contents? If there is no file there, any chance you deleted it or somehow removed the Warp repository through a software updater application?

Finally, you can run these commands to manually configure the repository and update Warp:

sudo apt-get install wget gpg
wget -qO- https://releases.warp.dev/linux/keys/warp.asc | gpg --dearmor > warpdotdev.gpg
sudo install -D -o root -g root -m 644 warpdotdev.gpg /etc/apt/keyrings/warpdotdev.gpg
sudo sh -c 'echo "deb [arch=amd64 signed-by=/etc/apt/keyrings/warpdotdev.gpg] https://releases.warp.dev/linux/deb stable main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/warpdotdev.list'
rm warpdotdev.gpg

Hi @Subhai I've noticed this issue has happened to other users who recently updated Ubuntu. Have you by any chance recently updated Ubuntu to v24 (from v23 or older)?

Hi all, last week's version of Warp has a fix for this that ensures we re-enable the Warp repository after updating to Ubuntu 24.

"apt.releases.warp.dev" is not valid - we serve things from simply "releases.warp.dev". How did you configure the Warp apt repository? I can't find a reference to "apt.releases.warp.dev" anywhere in our code or documentation.

Our official documentation has instructions for manually configuring the Warp apt repository; might be worth making sure your sources.list is set up appropriately. See: https://docs.warp.dev/getting-started/getting-started-with-warp

Notice how the lines at the end are "releases.warp.dev/linux/deb" (this matches the command in our documentation) but the first line is "apt.releases.warp.dev"? Find the file in the /etc/apt/sources.list.d directory that defines the "apt.releases.warp.dev" repository and delete it - it's not valid.
