ELIGIBILITY
Hackers that were exclusively accepted to Hackville 2024 through email.
PROJECT AND SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Projects can only be worked on after the hacking period begins and must be submitted by Sunday at 10:00 AM when hacking ends. Any projects that are worked on before or after this period will be disqualified.
After submissions are processed, we will assign each group a time slot to present their project
Please be ready to present your work and walk through what your solution is, how it addresses your targeted group and a demonstration of the final product.
PRIZES
- 1st Place: $250 gift card or of similar monetary value to each team member
- 2nd Place: $150 gift card or of similar monetary value to each team member
- 3rd Place: $100 gift card or of similar monetary value to each team member
- Best UI by Tempo Labs $100 and $250 AI credits to each team member
JUDGING CRITERIA AND WINNER SELECTION
Judging will be in person this year. After hackers submit project through Devpost. We will assign each team a table. Please wait at your assigned table for demo and judging. All team members should be present during demo.
Execution
40% - How technically impressive is the hack? Is the project complete? Does the hack allow for a good user experience?
Originality
20% - Was the hack original? Was the hack creative?
Social/Industry Impact
20% - Is the hack practical? Is the value articulated? Does it meet the challenge and fulfill a genuine need?
Presentation
20% - Was the project clearly explained? Was the demo high quality?
