Best use of Backboard.io track
Your mission is to leverage Backboard's full AI operating system, stateful memory, multi-agent orchestration, and deep document RAG, to build applications that go far beyond simple chatbots.
Your app must demonstrate how Backboard's unique capabilities (17,000+ models with hot-swapping, semantic recall, and built-in tool calling) can solve complex, long-running coordination problems where context actually persists across sessions.
No study planners, no homework helpers, build infrastructure that manages real complexity.
Suggestion: Take time to research your idea. Use GPT or Claude to dig into sectors that are niche or underserved by AI. Then figure out how Backboard's memory and multi-agent orchestration can solve problems those sectors actually face.
Please ensure that you use the promo code HUSKYHACKS26 to get additional dev credits on Backboard. It can be found on the billing page if you haven't used it yet. If you sign up through the http://backboard.io/hackathons page, there is a spot to put the promo code on sign up. Happy hacking!

Analyze info like a supercomputer and create an app that summarizes complex research papers
Generate creative content like code, scripts, music, and more
Think of the possibilities… what will you build with the Google Gemini API this weekend?
Judging note: The most important thing is that your project actually uses the Gemini API.
