Books are locations you enter during a run. In any run you can visit 2 books and must fight Guardians in their end to progress further.

All Books have the same structure. The only differences in Books are the enemies you face and NPCs you may encounter. Book structure is different for quick dives than deep dives:
Book 1 Kwilling Cages reward 2 rolls of 4-5 , 3 rolls of 8-10 , 3 rolls of 16-20 (verify this for quick vs ranked)
Book 2 Kwilling Cages reward 4 rolls of 8-10 , 6 rolls of 16-20 (verify this for quick vs ranked)
