Headquartered in the United Kingdom, our team is reshaping the rare earths supply chain with agnostic, highly scalable processing capabilities covering raw feed REE refining to spent REO magnet recycling.
We’re protecting downstream REE capabilities by delivering circular economies for REO magnets, enabling an all-new intake stream devoid of lengthy mining delays and foreign influence.
Originating in 2014 out of Queen’s University Belfast, then as QUB spin-out Seren Technologies in 2016, we have since grown substantially as a global pioneer in the REE space – a 100% owned subsidiary of ASX-listed Ionic Rare Earths Limited (ASX: IXR).
Our flagship proprietary hydrometallurgical processes extract high-purity (99.5 %+) neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium oxides from spent NdFeB magnets.
We can accommodate magnets in most formats, with varying degrees of pre-processing already completed, recovering individually separated, recycled REOs, with purity over 99.5%, perfectly suited for new Western supply chains.
This innovation offers a highly scalable solution for countries to establish a supply chain insulated from geopolitical risk.
With technology that can be deployed rapidly, sovereign nations are able to take back the reins of their REE supply chains, allowing them to control refinery and recycling capabilities while strategically removing reliance on foreign powers.
More recently, our reach has accelerated with multiple refining and recycling facilities being developed across Brazil and the United Kingdom. These growing developments across the United Kingdom and Brazil continue to break the mould, enabling stronger, more secure REE & magnet REOs supply chains.
