Welcome to Kedara
A personal website by Ruben Verweij
My name is Ruben Verweij
and this is my personal wiki,
digital garden, blog, or, to summarize: personal website. I write about
whatever interests me at the time. Currently, that’s mostly the
following topics:
Yoga (practice and philosophy),
Sanskrit (Sanskrit texts and the study of the language),
Human web (lightweight, fast, personal websites: a.k.a. Indieweb, smallweb),
Personal stuff and
Nature (nature and related topics such as gardening). I also keep track of
what I’m focused on now.
- This month, I’m collecting links to wonderful blogs for Junited 2026.
Some of my pages
Some of the pages that I’ve been working on lately include Junited 2026, A year of reading the Tales and Teachings from the Bhagavata Purana and The next best thing to actually visiting a museum. This website is bilingual: currently, 61% of the pages are written in English and 39% of the pages are written in Dutch.
I’ll post (plant?) pages before they’re fully fleshed out and I’ll frequently update them. Once they’re complete enough for a first version, they’re also shown on my blog. Some (random) examples of more or less finished pages are Devanāgarī and IAST, Now, May 2026: a letter from Scotland! and Yoga and Daoism.
Also check out the overview of slash pages, the about page or the colophon. I share interesting links here and have listed more recommendations on my Blogroll page. There are various ways to follow my work.
Explore by topic
There’s no chronological order in the digital garden. Instead, the pages are interconnected by links and organized by topic. Therefore, topics are a good starting point to explore my digital garden. The topics with the most pages are shown below:
I hope you’ll enjoy my digital garden!
