Collection Items
Once you’ve created a Collection, you need to populate it with items. The Dynamic Content Manager gives you tools to add, edit, organize, and bulk-manage your content efficiently.
Add New Item
- Click the CMS icon in the Left Panel to open the Dynamic Content Manager.
- From the left sidebar, select the collection you want to add items to.
- If the collection is empty, you’ll see a + Add New Item button. If not, you’ll see the Add Item button at the bottom of the Content Manager.
- Click them to open the item form, fill in the fields, and either Save as Draft, Publish, or Schedule.
Save Item as Draft
You can save a collection item as a draft to keep it hidden from your site until you’re ready to publish it:
- Fill in the item fields in the item form.
- Click Save as Draft at the top-right of the item form.
Publish Item
Publishing an item makes it live on your site immediately:
- Fill in the item fields in the item form.
- Click Publish at the top-right of the item form.
Schedule Item
You can schedule a collection item to go live at a specific date and time — useful for planning content releases.
To schedule an item:
- Open the collection item you want to schedule to access its item form.
- Click the clock icon next to the Publish button.
- Set the desired date and time (based on your site’s configured time zone).
- Click Schedule to confirm.
To cancel a schedule:
- Open the scheduled item.
- Click the ellipsis (⋯) icon at the top-right of the item form.
- Select Cancel Schedule.
To reschedule:
- Open the scheduled item.
- Click the ellipsis (⋯) icon at the top-right of the item form.
- Select Rechedule.
Customize Columns Displayed
You can control which columns appear in the collection table to keep your view focused on what matters.
- Open the relevant collection from the Dynamic Content Manager.
- Click the column icon (two vertical lines) at the top-right of the table. A dropdown lists all available fields. Columns with a checkmark are currently visible.
- Click any field name to toggle it on or off.
Search Items
You can search for a specific item in the collection table by its name:
- Open the relevant collection from the Dynamic Content Manager.
- Click the Search items field next to the filter icon and type the item name.
Filter Items
You can filter items in the collection table. This can be handy if you want to view or multi-select items based on a condition:
- Open the relevant collection from the Dynamic Content Manager.
- Click the filter icon next to the search bar to open the filter panel. You can filter by:
- Status – All, Published, Scheduled, or Draft
- Created – All, Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, or Last 30 days
- Modified – All, Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, or Last 30 days
- Click Apply Filter to apply your selection, or Reset to clear all filters.
Duplicate Items
- Open the relevant collection from the Dynamic Content Manager.
- Click the ellipsis (⋯) icon at the end of that item’s row.
- Select Duplicate. A copy of the item will be added to the collection.
Delete Items
- From the collection list, open the item you want to delete.
- Click the trash icon at the top-right of the item form to remove it.
Bulk Actions
You can perform several of these actions on multiple items at once:
- Tick the checkbox next to each item you want to select, or check the box in the header row to select all items.
- A toolbar appears at the top showing the number of selected items and the available bulk actions:
- Delete
- Save as Draft
- Duplicate
To deselect all, click the cancel (x) icon next to the selected items count.
