Earn college credit as you learn how a public access television station and community media center operates behind the scenes. You will gain hands-on experience in studio and field production (e.g. camera, lighting, audio, editing, producing), support PADNET members with their projects, and build your own portfolio as you create impactful community media.
Applicant Requirements:
+ Be registered as a student at a university, college, community college, or vocational-technical institute.
+ Eligible to receive school credit for the internship.
+ Available to work 10+ hours per week over 11 weeks.
+ Available to work Mondays from 10AM-4PM.
We are seeking passionate, motivated individuals eager to learn and contribute to community media. Prior video production experience is preferred.

@longbeachcap is proud to partner with the Long Beach Office of Youth Development (@lbhealthdept) to produce a second episode of their Youth Voices series in the PADNET community media studio.
Filmed and produced by PADNET in the Community Media Studio, Episode 2 focused on “Planning for the Future,” featuring two youth discussing their hopes and uncertainties after high school, as well as the support and opportunities that would help them feel more prepared for their futures.
