Leena Jo Landmark, Ph.D. is a Professor of Special Education at Sam Houston State University and a nationally recognized expert in transition services for individuals with disabilities. With almost 30 years of experience in education, Dr. Landmark’s work focuses on improving postsecondary outcomes through culturally responsive-sustaining, evidence-based practices. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, secured millions in grant funding, and frequently presents at national and international conferences. A Nationally Certified Transition Specialist and Fellow of the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Dr. Landmark collaborates with schools, agencies, and communities to promote inclusive, person-centered education and lifelong advocacy.
