The LID Center helps communities prioritize public health and the environment and achieve solutions for clean water and sustainable growth. Our services include Design & Planning, Technical Assistance, Research, and Training. From concept development to implementation, we provide the tools and knowledge communities need for better stormwater management.
Our projects have advanced stormwater management across Maryland, DC, and Virginia. Through every project we implement, and every group we work with, the LID Center is committed to more sustainable environmental planning that furthers protections of our local waterways.
The LID Center is passionate about building the capabilities of our clients, our partners, and our community. We believe that experience and lessons learned are a resource that should be shared. We have developed guides and fact sheets and other products highlighting different research findings, project methods, and approaches, available for public use.
