ML6710i is a medical laser device for ophthalmology. It’s specifically designed for retinal PDT treatments. The laser is controlled intuitively from iPad app, and it’s very easy to use. ML8500

ML8500 is a fully automated biomedical illumination system for well plate and petri dish samples. ML8500 has up to six built-in lasers. Cloud-based composition of illumination programs can be done remotely which enables effective research work. ML8500 keeps sample plates within a specified temperature and CO2 range.

Modulight announces yellow and orange laser wavelengths with several watts of output power, excellent beam quality, and unmatched flexibility. Traditionally difficult to achieve, Modulight’s VECSEL-based ML6600 series lasers now close the yellow-orange gap between 570 and 630 nm.

Modulight Launches ML6600-Based Mid-IR Laser for Medical, Aerospace, and Remote Sensing Applications

A new addition to Modulight’s Fiber Laser Portfolio, ML6615, is a Mid-IR laser with 2.7–3 µm wavelength. The ML6615 laser is well-suited for soft tissue and dental treatments, and cutting, welding, and micro-machining polymers and certain glasses and ceramics. In aerospace and remote sensing, the system opens possibilities for specialized applications such as humidity and remote sensing tasks. ML6615 delivers up to 10 W of output power, supportiong both CW and QCW operating modes.

Deeksha Sankepalle and the group at Tufts University, USA developed an advanced multi-wavelength photoacoustic imaging system. It integrates a pulsed, tunable laser with an ultrasound acquisition platform to provide functional 3D imaging. The system enables real-time, non-invasive, high-resolution imaging of tumor vasculature by tracking oxygen saturation in the tumor.

New Portfolio of Single-Frequency DBR and DFB Lasers and High-Power Tapered Amplifiers for Quantum and Precision Applications
