Michael Xavier brings a wealth of experience and relevant industry know-how to MX Masterclass. Nominated for the prestigious Laurence Olivier Awards twice, Michael’s Musical Theatre performance history includes the leading roles in London’s West End and Broadway shows such as Prince of Broadway, Sunset Boulevard, The Phantom of the Opera, Show Boat, The Pajama Game…to name a few! His wealth of professional performing experience also spans other media including modern plays, Shakespeare, film, and television.

Michael has also starred in many telelvision shows including NBC’s The Blacklist, BBC/HBO’s Gentleman Jack, ITV’s Grantchester, Starz’s Outlander, ITV’s Grace and more.

Michael says: “I set up MX Masterclass in 2016, after running West End Masterclass successfully for five years before that. I wanted to offer more young people access to west-end quality training as I never had that opportunity when I was young. Mentoring the future stars of musical theatre is a truly rewarding experience and every term I’m amazed and excited by the standard and potential of the MXM students.”
