NAMI New York State is an organization of families, friends and individuals whose lives have been affected by mental illness. Together, we advocate for better lives for those individuals who have a mental illness.
Voice of Change is NAMI New York State’s official newsletter, offering insights, updates, and stories that reflect our mission to build better lives for individuals and families affected by mental illness.
NAMI started as a small group of families gathered around a kitchen table in 1979 and has blossomed into the nation's leading voice on mental health. Today, we are an association of more than 500 local affiliates who work in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available to those in need.
