So caught up in what is supposed to be, So much to do, no time left to be me…
I see a glimpse of who I am inside, No time for her, continue on the ride…
Some days I feel there’s no more left to give, No time to breath, to laugh, enjoy and live…
Seems I’m running faster everyday, Some days I just want to run away.
A day or two will come when I’m alive, I’m reaching all the goals for which I strive, Other days I’m running into walls, seems I don’t accomplish much of all…
What happened to the days I stopped to sing? Had time to stop and savor every thing, The stars, the sun the moon, the birds the sky, Now it seems I watch as they pass by…
Time for naked footsteps in the sand… Time to walk together, hand in hand… Watching life so swiftly passing by, Never knowing when, I’m going to die… I don’t want to cry; I want to find the Happiness inside. Want to take a moment and just dance and sing and play…Life’s too short to let it slip away….
I’m going to find a way, to grasp a piece of happiness, each day…Gonna reach out for the things that make me smile, gonna sing and dance if only for a while… I’ve got to live!

If I had it all to do again, would I change a thing at all? Would my dreams have been more grandiose, or would I keep them small?

Would I change the people that I loved, Would I let so many in? Would I let you get so close to me, if I could begin again?

So many steps we’ve taken, leading different ways, yet here we are together, after months and years and days…

Somehow you reached out to me, and touched me deep inside, and through the years you have remained, constant by my side…

The moments that we share are short, the memories are long, Our friendship is for a lifetime, our connection is so strong.

If I had to do it all again, there is not much I would change, except to spend more time with you, and to let you know… Always

I opened up my soul for all to see, A chance to get a glimpse inside of me…

Some people read my words and found connection, Others read and only gave rejection…

Sometimes I am a warm and sunny day, just want to spread my wings and fly away…

Other times a storm makes its way past, you hear the thunder roar and lightning crash;

the tears pour down like raindrops from my eyes, cleansing all that tears me up inside…

My soul’s a very complicated thing, some days it cries and other days it sings,

It opens wide to feel all that it can, and then it may just close back up again…

My words are a reflection of my heart, my heart is a reflection of my soul, My soul is a reflection of the person that I am,

If you read my words, I think you’ll understand….

It floats down from the Heavens, like the feathers of a dove, fluffy white and tranquil like a blanket from above.
It overlaid the mountains, it blanketed the trees, it made the world ethereal and it enveloped me…
As I lie in solitude and gaze in wonderment, there is no doubt in my mind that this snow was heaven sent…
The cardinals in their bright attire draw near to have a feast, as the kitty in the window shares this tranquil scene with me.
No doubt the roads are treacherous, and the traffic has been halted, I ponder how many pause to savor, this beauty so exalted…
A snow day to delight in, a moment froze in time, reflections of God’s miracles, and a moment to define…
As I lie in silent solitude and delight in what I see, I feel my heavenly savior, as he shares this time with me…
How beautiful, the snowfall as it paints the earth in white, the peacefulness and purity makes everything feel right…
I may just lie here endlessly and watch the hours pass by, as the snow continues falling and my soul is so inspired…
The world may turn around me, life may continue on, but peering through this window here, is just where I belong…
with eyes of gratitude I watch, a beauty to behold, while piano music caresses me, I know that I am not alone
Oh what a gift he’s given, for those who will stop to behold, The snowflakes descent from the heavens above, a gift more precious than gold….

Time is not ours to hold onto, we’re never sure when our time is through, but  oh what a gift when we choose to give, some of the time that we have to live…

Some give a lifetime, like the Mother, who gives her time selflessly, to nurture others.

Some give a week, a month or a year, the time that is needed for a friend to be there. Some give a moment, and it’s all that is needed to touch someone’s heart and stop them from bleeding.

A moment, a day a lifetime or more, time is a precious gift for sure. When you Love somebody, with all that you are, and you want to reach out and give them the stars, When you want them to know how much you care, that you love them and need them and hold them dear, when words just can’t say what you feel in your mind, take a moment to give them the gift of time…

Pause for a moment and hold their hand, sit beside them and just be still, look at the stars up in the sky while you hold them closely by your side, take a walk, watch a movie, give them a kiss, those are the moments, the meaningful gifts….

Time is too short and it goes by too fast, We never know just how long it will last, So share that time with the ones you hold dear, a moment, a day, a month or a year, Time runs out for someone each day, Let them know how you feel before time passes away, Don’t measure life in the number of years, but in the heart felt moments, that we shared….

What is it about life, that keeps us going? What motivates us, to wake up another morning, to try and fulfill another dream, to try and cohabitate with another soul? Perhaps, it is the little things that get lost along the way, the things we sometimes do not see, but infinitely know that they exist and in a magical moment we feel them… As we walk by the flower on our way to life, it’s fragrance captures our sense of smell, and we are aware, for just a moment… Perhaps, it is that glimpse of amazing that keeps us going on. How then, can we keep that wonderment alive? How can we find the extraordinary moments amongst the hours that make up ordinary days and form a lifetime?

Yesterday, in a touch of a cell phone key pad, the sun shone on my world. The earth did not shutter, nor did the sky open up to reveal rainbows, but my heart smiled… Sometimes, it is the small and seemingly insignificant gestures, that let us know we are alive and that life is indeed worth living. A thought, followed through, a gesture carried out, to let someone know they are worthy of that moment, worthy of the time it will take, to let them know you care and that they are just important enough to take a moment in time, and let them know how you feel.

What if we lived each day, letting people know.. Stopping to smell the flowers, to dance in the rain, to listen to our hearts, to tell someone we care? Suddenly, life would be filled with glorious moments and those we care for would have no doubt. Maybe, there is no time to spend life living… In our pursuit to “make it through life” to provide for and take care of our needs, we are letting our real needs slip through the cracks and wasting the precious moments, that were meant to be life’s gifts. Maybe if we start now, and take just a few moments, in an ordinary day, to see, to smell, to feel something extraordinary and to share that moment with someone else, we can open our eyes and our hearts and our souls and truly Live, one magnificent moment at a time….
