Description Despite his intimidatingly large size, Pongo is a kindhearted dragon who is always willing to assist others. Unfortunately, he’s quite clumsy and often accidentally makes matters worse after trying to help. Looks Pongo is mostly yellow and orange. He has white teeth, a neon green mustache with matching eyelashes. His eyes are small and black. Unlike traditional dragons, Pongo has six legs. Appearances Pongo has appeared in several episodes of Oswald. His first appearance was in "Down in the Dump", where he made a brief cameo. He made his speaking debut in "Pongo the Friendly Dragon". This character's name starts with P, just like Cactus Polly, the major cactus, and of course, Cactus Pete, the book reveal. This character has the same name as the dad of the puppies. Perdita "Perdy" is his wife however. He has the same first two letters as Cactus Polly.
