Symmetry
All patterns, whether geometric or organic, are designed with a continuous repeating flow.
Some patterns repeat over two panels, so alternate rows can be rotated 180° for a continuous or rhythmic look.
Most of the natural patterns are designed to match up when rotated 180°, creating lovely tranquil aesthetics.
