Dear fellow Pokemon fan,
Hello! Thank you for participating in Pokexchange! I'm the mod and I snuck myself in for treats because I am incorrigible, sorry. I hope everyone has been having lots of fun!
Please avoid these topics:
My favorite types of stories are character studies, especially if they're couched in slice-of-life/fluff. I love things that extrapolate off of the base canon, things that dig into a character's psyche and thought processes, and any and all character interactions. I'm weak to characters taking care of each other and long distance relationships.
For art, I love pieces that capture quiet moments, breathing spaces in-between the action, lazy mornings or wind-downs after practice; on the opposite end of the spectrum I love art that has a lot of motion or unusual/limited color palettes, things that make me stop and look at them (but my eyes become strained easily, so please be kind).
Regardless of medium, my favorite thing is characters asleep/sleeping on each other/sleepy cuddling. You could give me a gift with just this and I would be the happiest person alive.
I like all ratings (G to NC-17). You can throw any gender/sexuality/etc. headcanons you want at me and I'll probably eat it up (however, please proceed with respect about what you know, and I'd prefer if it wasn't the focus of the piece). I am a hardcore multishipper so feel free to create whatever ships/side pairings you want.

Furret is my favorite, I love them, anything with furret will kill me. I've been recently very obsessed with maid furret from pokemon cafe mix, but I'll take anything. Hilbert in my headcanon is a gentle country boy with a rolling American Southern accent who loves pokemon, lives simply, and is perpetually bemused by the world-altering things that keep happening around him when he just wants to take care of his friends and family. The best example of this headcanon is in this Red/Hilbert fic I wrote once. I've been missing him recently and I just wanted to see him again, I guess! Any ship is fine, gen is okay too. I want something about Hilbert carving out a moment of quiet, healing solace while the world is doing its best to fall apart. The pep talk Hilbert gives to his team before any momentous battle in B/W. The first night Hilbert and his chosen legendary spend together after they've vanished. Hilbert comforting or encouraging someone he cares about.

Red/Green is my favorite ship of all time, but I really love them with Lance and I never get to see it, so that's what I'm asking for here. I like the way it has both a mentor/student overtone and a rivalry overtone. Lance is such a strong and cool guy. He's able to keep his dignity, his sense of self, even though these kids showed up and beat him over and over. He continues to lead the league with aplomb even as these messy kids are causing so much chaos everywhere.
I don't personally headcanon that Red got the championship and then vanished instantly. I think that he genuinely tried to be the champion first and that it was brutal on him. Red's shyness, his discomfort with crowds, his inability to communicate clearly, how confusing he must find paperwork, his lack of understanding of finances. Lance sees Red collapsing under the strain of the championship and tries to help him through it.
I think Lance plays a simliar role with Green: seeing this obviously talented kid struggling and spitting and fighting as he becomes a gym leader and tries to integrate into the league after spending his entire pokemon journey doing his best to ostracize literally everyone and Lance is just like, ...Do you need help. And Green being like, NO fuck you!!! And then after a while being like...help.
And anyway after these experiences I think that Red and Green develop absolutely stunning crushes on Lance, and I think that after they finally get together and grow up they talk about how much they like Lance and then both decide to hit on him at the same time. Lance is as dense as a brick and their flirtation maybe has to get a bit excessive before he gets the message. It is so obvious that Lance has never been pampered in his life; always the caretaker, never the cared for. Red and Green are dead set on changing that.

RedGreen is my #1 OTP of all time, I will die for this ship. I love almost anything you could create, as long as you don't break up the ship.
These days I'm in the mood for Red/Green long distance for whatever reason (one is called away for research or league duties, mt. silver era, red is sick and green had to work at the gym anyway). The distance doesn't have to be long in duration or distance—the distance of the heart is what matters. Anything with delicious pining would be awesome. Happy endings are delightful but not required; that a happy ending could happen at some point past the piece's focus, however, is a must.
Inversely, fuck me up with those intense rivalry feelings. Any era would work for this, they're rivals until the end!! If this trips over into UST->RST (Unresolved to Resolved Sexual Tension; does not have to be NSFW, kissing counts) that would also be quite delicious.
Other ideas - domesticity, traveling, cuddling, something spicy or something soft, camping trips, them in their childhood, backpacking through another region (Kalos? Sinnoh?? anywhere!!!), working out their issues or happily coexisting, anything is great. Leaf is also my best girl and I love her to death, so including her is fabulous but not required.
I've been really into transmasc headcanons for these two. If you include it I'll be delighted, but it's strictly optional and not required, and I'd prefer if it wasn't the focus of the piece.

General Commentary
Please avoid these topics:
- Human/pokemon, character death, gory violence (non gory violence and combat sequences are okay; specific prompts may have more details), zombies/werewolves/vampires, cancer, abuse, suicide, genderswaps, and pregnancy/raising children plots. These are the big ones.
- Over the top angst. Hurt/comfort is one of my favorite things; being pointlessly cruel to characters to evoke reader feels is not.
- Medical/anatomical inaccuracy will throw me out of a piece, so please do your research if you write/draw illness or injury.
- I'm picky about first- and second- person POV; if you're confident then go for it, but third-person POV is your safest bet.
- For any of the ships I explicitly mentioned, please no sad breakups. I don't mind them being with other characters from the get-go/they never dated, or them not dating anyone, or even having dated and then an amicable separation/still close friends. What I mind is if they break up but they're still actively pining for each other, even though they're not together any more; or worse, not on speaking terms at all. Please don't do that. Thank you!
