Neural activity is the substrate of the human experience, and we are developing a scalable brain-computer interface (BCI) platform that reads and writes neural activity.

Our BCI platform is designed to help restore communication and enable computer control for people who need it most. As we advance through clinical trials and development, we are focused on building a BCI platform with increasing performance, reliability, usability, and safety as core design priorities. But we won’t stop there. We will continue iterating and exploring new areas of functional restoration. Over time, these capabilities, combined with AI-enabled user applications, may broaden what BCI users are able to do in ways that go beyond today’s assistive technologies and open new possibilities for human capability.

Our current BCI platform has demonstrated an information transfer rate of 200 bits per second, which is currently 20x faster than any other interface.
