Thanks for being kind enough to offer one of my requests! I’m looking forward to reading whatever you choose to write. Feel free to go for PG or the raunchiest NC-17. Want to use one character? Want to use them all? Go for it! Do whatever's most comfortable for you and the tone of your story ♥ TRICKS; ❯ ❯ ❯ DISCLAIMER ❮ ❮ ❮ My “tricks” aren’t things you have to stay away from! Think of them as an ironic twist or the hard butterscotch candy someone tosses into your goodie bag instead of that king-sized Snickers® bar. They're things that I (personally) find terrifying, but can read while peeking between my fingers . Example: A genie (TREAT!) grants character A three wishes, but the unspoken clause is sweet, sweet mpreg (TRICK!).  Some of my tricks would be: mpreg, gun!play/blood!play, sex pollen, soul bonding, chase scenes, body possession, necromancy, betrayal, power imbalances, aliens, serial killers, nightmares, guns, kidnapping, power outages, thunderstorms, car accidents, and plane crashes.TREATS;  When it comes to characters, I really enjoy shipfic and antagonistic love/hate relationships —things like trust issues, banter and bickering, and reluctant alliances; Let's put it all under “frenemies”. I adore slow builds, platonic or romantic. I also like AUs (all of them ~ even the generic ones), found families, complicated family relationships (whether incestuous or not), and moral dilemmas. I like the idea of people discovering things about each other, and discovering things about themselves (character building in general makes me *swoon*). Protectiveness, difficulty expressing feelings verbally (or non-verbally!) and first time activities (from sex to pumpkin carving), are all dynamics I really really love. But okay, some of those things sound mushy and romantic and do a crummy job of telling you whether I'd prefer a mummy jumping out to goblins hiding under the bed. So here are the more Halloween-y, spooky-scary likes: ghosts, haunted houses, ouija boards, witches, magic, trapped together, jump scares, genies, skeletons and bones, clowns, tarot, fortune telling, forests, suspense, costume parties, ”harrowing capers!”, and formal wear. ELIXIRS;  I don't shy away from smut, but I'm pretty vanilla. Frottage is my favorite thing-- I like the idea of lovers being so aroused, there's barely time to remove clothing before they're touching each other. Clothed sex is a very close second. Masturbation (pining!), voyeurism, makeouts, blowjobs, hand jobs, body worship, and rough sex are all fine. Riding is also fun, esp. if they're taken from behind, and I do enjoy surfaces, such as up against walls, tables, doors, etc. Please no BDSM, scat/watersports or toys.POISONS;  Please please under all circumstances stay away from: rape, gender swap, crossdressing, cheating, torture, gore, insects. crawling. on. people., crossovers, BDSM, A/B/O dynamics, werewolves (stay away from those in real life too!), and animal harm. I find 1st person narrative hard to read, I'm much more comfortable with 2nd or 3rd. No epithets like "the brunette said,” or ”the soldier replied," if it can be avoided. It's totally fine if the character doesn't have a name, but please try to use people's names and pronouns when possible. Homestuck Let's be honest. Even when Homestuck is great, it's absolutely terrible. But that's one of the reasons why I think it'd be incredibly fun to write something for this fandom. There's so much death, body horror, and necromancy that I think Homestuck could benefit from something a little more.. normal. I'd really love to see something along the lines of a costume party or a trick-or-treat outing gone wrong. Maybe even domestic activities that take place in Autumn, like (what)pumpkin carving or John's dad stuffing everyone with desserts. Something that starts off simple and kind of haywires into something fantastic and slightly ridiculous. I'd still like the creep factor to be there, and anything gruesome that occurs in fandom (decapitation, vampirism, etc) is fine to use. Free! Free! is an anime about guys swimming (or at least that's what it pretends to be instead of the ship bait it truly is). It's so light-hearted in tone, that I think this series is the one I'd most like to see something really dark from. Not because I want to see anything bad happen to characters I love, but I think they'd be good for a scare. Especially given Haru's love of creepy things, Nagisa's playfulness, and Makoto's complete fear of anything even slightly scary. Rin is my favorite character, so I'd love for him to at least make a cameo, even if he's not the character you choose to focus on. I'm also a big fan of Samezuka and the dynamic both teams have when they're around each other, so that might be nice to see. Harry Potter One thing about the books that made me sad was that we never got Harry/Luna. But even worse is that Luna Lovegood was not around more and beloved by everyone in the entire Wizarding World. Also, I'd really love to know what Draco Malfoy is up to, and if he'd ever become the Vegeta of Harry's group. Adventure would be great, family dynamics would be great, drinking Butterbeer until everyone vomits oceans. I'm good with it all. I'm a huge fan of friendship and teamwork in this series. The Weasleys come to mind when I think about who I'd want a story like this to center around, but honestly I will gratefully accept anything in this fandom that I'm treated to. To give you something to think about though, I'll just say that Halloween is totally their Christmas, and I want it to be the best (or the absolute scariest) Halloween 2015 of all. Katekyo Hitman Reborn! When's the last time anyone mentioned this series, huh? It's very close to my heart and one of the first shone series where I felt like I loved every character. Should I mention the Future Arc or box animals here? (Not if I'm trying to avoid a rage aneurysm.) The things I loved most about this series includes Tsuna's transformation into a young man who cares about his friends and has confidence in himself, the Ring Battle Arc, and every time Gokudera and Yamamoto ever interacted. Because Tsuna is/was? such a scaredy-cat, I think it would be fun to explore how the Vongola family would handle protecting their boss from whatever spooky aspect comes their way. I'd guess dealing with Mukuro explores the Supernatural aspect, but what about an element that doesn't align themselves as an ally? Also since the story takes place in Japan and Italy, it might be fun to explore some of their cultural superstitions. Gorillaz This fictional band has the most thought out and insane backstory. If you like Gorillaz at all, please make sure to browse Rise of the Ogre and join me in oogling just how much Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett's team thought this thing out. This fandom (bandom?) would make a great candidate for any creepy pasta you've wanted to toy with. Russell covers the demon possession aspect, Murdoc worships Satan... the situation with 2-D's eyes (and how he got them, aka Murdoc) begs for exposition. What about Noodle who has learned to care about each one of these guys despite all their hang ups, vices, and being in and out of jail when she's not busy being a child solider? I'd imagine not much scares them. Maybe they'd be the ones doing the scaring. And with all the money they've made from selling zillions of albums, I'm sure they could finance a pretty good trick indeed. Steven Universe Steven and the Crystal Gems continue to defend Earth while becoming a functional family unit, every episode. It's incredibly heartwarming and witty, not to mention aesthetically pleasing-- so why mess with a good thing? Because Onion. Onion exists, and that must mean that fandom is supposed to write whatever spooky, trick or treat-y, crazy out-there fan fiction (or fanart) that we want to! Like the Gems going Trick or Treating for the first time, or having a seance that brings Rose back from the dead, or some kind of Gem body horror that renders Garnet useless to the team and leaves the townspeople to rescue the Crystal Gems. WHAT IF CAT FINGERS RETURN AND THEY LIKE CANDY CORN? But honestly, I would be pleased with everyone sitting on the beach drinking hot cocoa and watching Ghostbusters I & II.
