STAGE 1: Registration on the FSI Sandbox is free and easy, visit https://sandbox.fsi.ng/login
to register and start building FinTech applications with the available APIs.

STAGE 2: Participation for the hackathon is dependent on completing stage 1. Only
members of FSI can participate in the hackathon.

Guidelines:
● Interested individuals form a team of 2 to 5 persons and select a team lead
● All team members are expected to join FSI if they are yet to do so (Stage 1)
● Team lead proceeds to register the team on https://fsi.ng/hackathon/
● Confirmation of registration mail is received by all team members

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: 24th of February, 2020

STAGE 3: Everyone that has successfully registered will be required to take a short practical
test on HackerRank for the first level of shortlisting.

Guidelines:
● A link will be sent to all the team members after confirmation mail has been
received
● Team members take the test individually

● Team scores are added up and the top teams are contacted for the next
stage

STAGE 4: The shortlisted teams will be required to send in their ideas for the hackathon.
This is a team effort and will ensure that the team discusses the hackathon and think of
innovative solutions to be built during the hackathon. This is the second stage of
shortlisting.

DEADLINE FOR STAGE 3 & 4: 27th of February, 2020

STAGE 5: After the second stage of shortlisting, the top 20 teams will be invited to come to
Lagos for the hackathon. The invitation will be sent on the 1st of March, 2020.
