CHEETAH CONSERVATION

Cheetahs are among the most endangered big cats in Africa, facing a steep decline due to habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, and their unique biological challenges. As solitary and highly sensitive animals, cheetahs require vast, undisturbed territories to thrive—spaces that are rapidly disappearing.

Their vulnerability is compounded by competition with stronger, more dominant predators like lions and hyenas, who often outnumber them and pose a threat to both adults and cubs. Cheetah cubs, in particular, are extremely fragile and dependent on their mothers for extended periods, with low survival rates in the wild.

Cheetahs also have highly specific and delicate breeding behaviors. Females typically roam large areas to find and choose from several males, a process that’s increasingly difficult in fragmented habitats. Even when mating occurs, pregnancies are rare and success rates remain low.

At Psycom Future Foundation, we are dedicated to cheetah conservation through the creation of protected enclosures, focused care, and species-appropriate rehabilitation. By offering a safe, naturalistic environment that supports their behavioral, we aim to help ensure the long-term survival of this iconic species.

Rehabilitation Center

Across South Africa’s wild landscapes, countless animals face threats from habitat destruction, human activity, poaching, and natural injury. Some are orphaned or abandoned at a young age, while others suffer injuries that make survival in the wild impossible without help.

Our rehabilitation center is a safe refuge for these vulnerable animals—a place where they receive expert care, medical treatment, and the time and space they need to recover. Each animal is treated with a tailored approach, respecting its species-specific needs and natural behaviors.

Whenever possible, we work toward reintroducing animals back into the wild. For those who cannot be released, we offer a permanent sanctuary where they can live in safety and dignity, while also helping to educate the public about conservation and the impact of human activity on native wildlife.

We believe that every animal deserves a chance to heal. Through compassionate care and a deep respect for nature, we strive to restore balance, one life at a time.

Awareness

We think that awareness is the first step toward lasting change. That’s why we create educational content that brings the vital connection between humans and nature to life through documentaries, films, and impactful social media storytelling.

Filmed on our facility in South Africa, our content for social media offers an authentic, up-close view of our conservation activities. From the delicate rehabilitation of injured animals to the complex social lives of cheetahs and the challenges facing modern ecosystems, we document stories that matter—with the aim of informing, inspiring, and mobilizing audiences around the world.

Filmed around the globe, our film and documentary productions showcase a new perspective on the relationship between seemingly unrelated spheres in nature: living and non-living entities. We explore the existing connection between human psychology (ie. trauma, resilience, memory, meaning, etc.) and environmental landmarks (ie. volcano, cave, mountain, canyon, etc.), seeking to unravel the building blocks of a meaningful life.

Through powerful storytelling, we aim to shift mindsets and foster a generation that values and protects the planet we all share. Whether it’s a deep-dive documentary or a short clip for social media, our goal is the same: to raise awareness, spark curiosity, promote a deeper respect for the natural world, and share a vision for our future.

EDUCATION

True conservation begins with education. That’s why we are committed to supporting local schools by providing both essential resources and transformative learning experiences to the youth.

We partner with Makhanda schools to offer financial support, donations and other much-needed items to help create a stronger educational foundation for children in our community.

By investing in education and access to knowledge, we hope to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards—young minds who will grow up with a deeper respect for the planet and a stronger sense of responsibility for its future.

Together, we’re building a bridge between community, conservation, and conscious living.

Y Event

The Y Event is a large-scale conference hosted by Dr. Guillaume Dulude and focused on psychological themes, the largest of its kind. The event celebrates the International Day of Courage and Personal Responsibility and serves as a fundraiser to donate funds to different causes. The Y Event highlights the importance of precise decision-making, leadership and communication skills, as well as the psychological tools that help one create a meaningful life.

The inaugural event in 2023 was held at the Montreal Congress Center (Canada), drawing 5,000 attendees and raising $100,000 for local high schools. In 2024, the Y2 edition took place at the iconic Bell Center (Montreal, Canada), featuring Dr. Dulude alongside guest speakers Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield and tennis legend Serena Williams. Over 5,000 people attended, with $103,000 raised and donated to local high schools.

This year, the Y3 Event (2025) proudly welcomes a guest speaker who truly embodies the spirit and the very mission of the Psycom Future Foundation: world-renowned conservationist and pioneer, Dr. Jane Goodall. Joined by master of ceremonies Mario Lopez and special guest speaker [Name], this third edition promises to be our most impactful yet. Broadcasted live worldwide, the event will be fully virtual—bringing our mission to a global audience. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to supporting the foundation’s initiatives.

Our Sanctuary

As our mission grows, so does the need for space.

One of Psycom Future Foundation’s key projects is the expansion of our facilities to welcome and care for even more rescued and endangered animals. With wildlife under increasing threat, the demand for safe, species-appropriate enclosures is greater than ever.

While our cheetah habitat is already in place, we are expanding our installations to welcome more rescued animals like vultures, meerkats, and duikers. These new enclosures will offer safe, species-appropriate environments for animals in need of rehabilitation and protection. A walkable path around the enclosures will allow for visitors to meet the animals and understand their habitat.

As part of this project, we are also building an on-site education center to host workshops for local children, fostering a deeper connection to nature and awareness of our shared future.

With your support, we’re creating a sanctuary where both wildlife and young minds can thrive.
