Joshua Kawan Nelson
We are so honored to work with Joshua Kawan Nelson, player, performer, and teacher. Joshua, also known as The Prince Of Kosher Gospel is from Newark NJ, and one of the worlds foremost interpreters of the music of Mahalia Jackson. He has toured and performed all over the planet, including with us. We met him in Washington Square Park years ago, he was playing with the Klezmatics -up right after us- and he sat down the organ, joined our set and we never looked back.
