Mini Icons

Minis (or Pets) were added on February 6th, 2022. They are an extension to gear and are classed as minis. You can equip them in the Gear section.

You can obtain them by buying them in events or opening a Mini Box, most minis cost 200 event points each if bought for the first time. However, if you want another one for trading, they will be more expensive if you buy multiple copies. 1 Star Mini boxes can be bought in events for 1,000 points and or three for 2,500 event points.

You can level up minis with EXP using notes, gems, blueprints, other minis, assignments or playing songs, which depends on the length of the song, how well your accuracy is, and how many people there are in a match.

You can have up to 3 minis equipped, however, you can’t equip more than 1 minis of the same type.

Ranking Up

After you have maxed out your Mini, you have the ability to rank up. Ranking up adds 10 more levels to your Mini and multiplies the base stats by the number of ranks your Mini has. However, you can only rank up 3 times, making your Mini's have the max level be 50.

Ranking up requires a copy of a Mini that is the same element as your Mini you're ranking up. There is a meter to show you how much the Mini copies you need to fill to rank up. Each 1 Star Mini copies gives 2 points while 2 Stars give 4, if you have additional copies of the Mini you're ranking up with, you can use it to fill up even faster, with 1 Star gives 10 points while 2 Stars give 20.

Assignments

Mini assignments is a feature added in 7th December, 2024. This allows you to train minis passively while you're away from the game. It can be found in the Artist Featuring Event menu.

You can assign 3 minis to train mini EXP for 3, 6 and 12 hours and earn rewards such as event points and team contribution points. You get better rewards when having higher gear power from the assigned minis maxing at 1,250 indicated by a white bar. However, you won't receive any event points if you claim rewards on the song you picked isn't present on the next event. For example: Starting an assignment on Internet Pajamas Party during the "you Featuring Event" will not give you event points on the "EmoCosine Featuring Event" after the event is over.

Assigning the featured mini from a current event gets an extra 4x mini EXP, while assigning minis that match the elements of the assigned song get an extra 2x mini EXP. A featured mini does not gain an extra 2x mini EXP when matching the elements of the assigned song. If a featured mini is assigned but claimed after the event has ended and the next event does not feature the assigned mini, it will no longer receive 4x mini EXP despite having the label when assigning it.

Assuming a completed assignment is always maxed, you get different yields for what duration you picked for the assignments. 3 hour assignments give more event points, 6 hour assignments gives mixed rewards and 12 hour assignments give more mini EXP.

Tips

• The max level your mini can achieve is 50, don't waste your notes if your minis are almost close to max level.
• If you have multiple minis of the same type in your inventory, you can give a copy of your mini to an equipable mini to gain EXP. A copy of your mini yields 2000 EXP if it is a 1 Star mini, and 4000 EXP if it is a 2 Star mini. Giving a copy of your mini to a mini with the same type gives double the amount of EXP.
  • Prior to an unknown update, the mini EXP yield were 500 and 1000 if it is a 1 Star or a 2 Star respectively. Giving a copy of your mini to a mini with the same type gives an additional 500 EXP for each copy.
• To prevent alt-farming, if you buy a mini for the first time, the game will automatically make your Mini equipable, making it untradeable.

Trivia

• On January 30th, 2022, spotco asked on twitter whether the minis looked better by the player or on the opposite side of where the player is. Most players decided that the minis looked better by the player.
• Helpful Alien was originally obtained through the Tobu (Part 2) event, but now it can be obtained by joining the RobeatsDev group.
  • Players who redeemed the code 'minitester' during testing of the update would've earned an extra copy.
• There was a bug where Helpful Alien will appear to be disfigured. The bug will cause the mini to be taller, have multiple limbs disappear and no head.
• Tower Heroes Wizard and Tower Heroes Mirai are characters native to a Roblox game, Tower Heroes.
  • The Wizard is a starter tower which fires magic at enemies while Mirai is a final boss in a map called, "Idol Encore".
• Waterflame is the first mini that emit particles.
• Prior to May 7th, 2022, using a Mini Box was the only way to get Ponchi without trading for one.
• Hyper Potions Shiba's tail and feet are transparent.
• Asteroid's Dream has a bug where it can slide off the stage while doing the "Tantrum" dance with you.
  • This also applies to the character on the left side during the brz1128 event.
• Girlfriend and Boyfriend are characters in the Newgrounds game Friday Night Funkin'.
  • This is another rhythm game similar to the 2D style of RoBeats.
• Kobaryo’s description states to play 'Villan Virus' in-game. It is a typo and is meant to be Villain Virus.
• Make a Cake Chef is a character represented to the Roblox game, Make a Cake.
• Sound Space Cat is the mascot of the Roblox game, Sound Space.

• Despite stating that the 24 hour assignment would give less Mini EXP per hour, it gives more than twice the amount of the 12 hour assignment.
