Science Defined was founded by Michael Donio after losing of his father to pancreatic cancer and facing the COVID pandemic. He recognized that complex scientific terminology frustrated students, patients, and caregivers seeking to understand science and health.

Michael Donio, founder of Science Defined, is a Middle School science teacher and former senior research scientist with over 20 years experience in virology, molecular biology, and oncology. With degrees in Biochemistry and Biotechnology, he’s passionate about health and science literacy. His free 7-day email course helps students and health-conscious individuals navigate scientific concepts.
