About Christopher Outland
Author · Game Developer · World Builder

Hey there, I’m Christopher Outland—storyteller, wanderer, and lifelong fan of all things eerie, dark, and a little off the beaten path.
I write because I’m drawn to what hides in the cracks—the forgotten towns, the unspoken fears, and the kind of tension that creeps in when the world goes quiet. My stories often blend suspense, horror, and raw human emotion. I like fiction that feels real, with characters you can root for, fear for, and sometimes fear entirely.
But storytelling doesn’t stop on the page. I’m also an independent game developer, working on immersive, narrative-driven games that explore the same gritty worlds and creeping dread that fill my books. Whether it’s a survival experience that puts you face-to-face with fear or a mysterious journey into the unknown, my goal is the same: to drop you into a world you can feel—one that stays with you long after the ending.
My latest novel, Dead Roads, takes you on a brutal, emotional ride through a world falling apart, where survival is as much about what’s inside you as what’s chasing you. If you like fast-paced stories with grit, heart, and a sense of unease, you might feel right at home in my universe—whether you’re reading it or playing through it.
When I’m not writing or building worlds, I’m out exploring strange places, reading, or listening to music that fits the mood of whatever project I’m working on. I believe every road tells a story—you just have to be willing to follow it into the dark.
Thanks for stopping by. I’d love to connect, so feel free to follow along. There’s more to come—on the page, and beyond.
