The App enables a single Marketplace order to be split across multiple Shopify merchants for fulfillment, and relays fulfillment and cancellation status back to the Marketplace.
This Privacy Policy describes our collection, use, and disclosure practices across both services. By using the Service (or, in the case of the Shopify Application, by installing it on your Shopify store), you agree to these terms.

Sharing Your Personal Information
The Company may share personal information in the following situations:
– **With Shopify Merchants (Connected Shopify Stores)** — When You place an order on the Marketplace that includes items sold by a Connected Shopify Store, we transmit the Personal Data necessary to fulfill that portion of the order (your name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, and the line items applicable to that merchant) to that merchant’s Connected Shopify Store via the Shopify Admin API. Each receiving Shopify Merchant is an independent Data Controller for that data within their Shopify store, and their own privacy policy governs their subsequent use.
– **With the Marketplace Operator** — When a Connected Shopify Store fulfills, ships, or cancels an item, we transmit fulfillment status, tracking information, and order line identifiers back to the Marketplace Operator so it can update Your order in the Marketplace.
– **With Shopify, Inc.** — The App operates on Shopify’s platform. Shopify, Inc. processes data as a sub-processor in its capacity as the platform provider per its own privacy policy: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy
– **With Service Providers** — For monitoring/analyzing Service use, advertising on third-party websites, payment processing (Referral Platform), and contacting You.

The Company retains Personal Data only as long as necessary per this Privacy Policy. Retention includes:
– Data needed to comply with legal obligations
– Data necessary to resolve disputes and enforce legal agreements
– Usage Data retained for internal analysis, security strengthening, and Service functionality improvement, or as legally required
**Marketplace order routing records** (Marketplace order number, the mapping between Marketplace order line items and Connected Shopify Store line items, and the corresponding fulfillment status) are retained for **seven (7) years** following the order date for tax, accounting, and audit purposes, after which they are deleted or permanently de-identified. Personal Data within these records (name, contact details, addresses) is deleted or de-identified earlier upon a verified deletion request, subject to the legal-obligation exceptions noted below.
**Shopify Merchant OAuth tokens** are deleted when the App is uninstalled from the Connected Shopify Store, or upon verified request, whichever is sooner. The App processes Shopify’s standard `app/uninstalled`, `customers/data_request`, `customers/redact`, and `shop/redact` webhooks to support compliance with these obligations.
—
Transfer of Your Personal Data
Information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company’s offices and locations of involved parties. This may transfer data to computers outside Your jurisdiction where data protection laws differ. Your Privacy Policy consent and information submission represents agreement to transfer. – Encryption at rest for sensitive credentials, including Shopify OAuth access tokens
– HMAC-SHA256 cryptographic signing on all webhook traffic between the App and the Marketplace, with constant-time signature verification, timestamped requests, and a replay-defense window
– Scope-minimized OAuth permissions; the App requests only the Shopify scopes necessary for the integration
– Mandatory shop-installation verification before any Shopify Admin API call
Absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Shopify App Disclosures
This section applies specifically to the App and to Personal Data processed in connection with Marketplace order routing through Connected Shopify Stores.
# Data Accessed from Connected Shopify Stores
The App reads and writes the following data on a Connected Shopify Store, only as needed for the Marketplace integration:
– **Orders** — read and create (for orders originating from the Marketplace), and cancel
– **Customers** — read existing customers and create customer records as needed to attach Marketplace-originating orders
– **Products and variants** — read, to validate variant identifiers received from the Marketplace
– **Fulfillments** — read, to relay fulfillment status back to the Marketplace
– **Discounts** — write, for promotional features unrelated to Marketplace routing (Referral Platform feature)
# Data Provided to Connected Shopify Stores
For each Marketplace order line item routed to a Connected Shopify Store, the App provides the receiving merchant with the customer’s name, email, phone (when provided), shipping and billing address, the Marketplace order number, and the relevant line items. The receiving Shopify Merchant becomes an independent Data Controller for this data within their Shopify store.
# Use Limitations on Shopify Data
Personal Data accessed from or written to a Connected Shopify Store is used **solely** to operate the Marketplace order routing integration on behalf of the merchant and the Marketplace Operator. We do **not**:
– Use it for advertising or marketing to the merchant’s customers
– Sell it to any third party
– Combine it with data from other Shopify Merchants for cross-merchant analytics
– Retain it after a Connected Shopify Store uninstalls the App, except as required by law
# Mandatory Compliance Webhooks
The App processes Shopify’s compliance webhooks at the following endpoints:
– `customers/data_request` — `/customer_data_request`
– `customers/redact` — `/customer_redact`
– `shop/redact` — `/shop_redact`
– `app/uninstalled` — handled by the standard webhook route
Requests received through these endpoints are processed in accordance with Shopify’s Privacy Webhooks requirements.
