¿Qué es esto?
Este blog sirve para recoger mis análisis principales sobre la serie de televisión de ‘She-Ra’. Originalmente los hice en Twitter, pero los he recopilado aquí para facilitar su lectura, su acceso y corregir erratas. La experiencia de ver la serie y analizarla fue muy divertida. A la gente le gustó y eso me animó a crear este blog.
¿Qué episodios analizas?
Mis análisis se centran en los principales episodios de la temporada 5, así como el capítulo piloto de la serie. Puedes acceder a ellos en la lista del menú superior seleccionando tu idioma preferido. Recomiendo leerlos en el orden que los enlazo, ya que el análisis fue evolucionando según veía los episodios y hay referencias continuas.
¿Qué temas tratas?
Los dos principales aspectos de mis análisis son Identidad y Color. Por un lado, mi tesis es que la serie defiende el valor de la Identidad, de todo aquello que nos hace únicos, y lo hace partiendo de nuestra capacidad para amar. Por otro lado, analizo el uso del color, partiendo del personaje de Horde Prime y su verde característico.
¿Por qué dos idiomas?
Mi lengua materna es el español. Así que, obviamente, todos los tuits originales fueron en español. Sin embargo, creo que el resultado final fue bastante interesante, así que me he animado a traducirlo al inglés para intentar llegar a más personas.
What’s this?
This blog’s purpose is to keep my main analyses about the ‘She-Ra’ show. I originally wrote them on Twitter, but I’ve collected them here to make them easier to read, to facilitate the access to them and to fix typos. The experience of watching the series and analyzing it was pretty fun. People liked it and that encouraged me to create this blog.
Which episodes do you analyze?
My analyses are focused on the main episodes of season 5, as well as the pilot of the series. You can access them on the list of the upper menu by choosing your preferred language. I recommend reading them in the order that I have linked them, because my analyses evolved as I was watching the episodes and there are continuous references.
What are the themes?
The two main topics of my analyses are Identity and Color. On the one hand, my thesis is that the show defends the value of Identity and all that makes us unique, and it does so with our ability to love as the ground zero. On the other hand, I analyze the use of color, with Horde Prime and his characteristic green as the starting point.
Why two languages?
My native language is Spanish. So, obviously, all the original tweets were in Spanish. However, I thought the end-result was pretty interesting, so I ended up translating it into English, hoping that it could reach more people.
